AUSTRALIAN MINIATURE PONY SOCIETY INC 2022/2023 HIGH POINT CLASSES

All shows that are High Point shows will be marked as such on the programme/ calendar of events.

All exhibits must be registered with the Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc and in the name of a current financial member. All Exhibits must be prepared in accordance with the AMPS Standard of showing. All Handlers must be current financial members of AMPS including junior handlers, who must be current financial members in their own right, either as a junior member or as part of a Joint or Family membership. Handlers: age applies at first day of show season. All Handlers, stay in same age class all season, irrespective if birthday is during the season. Show entries MUST be submitted by the owner of the pony, unless written permission is given by the owner of the pony for someone else to submit entries. Show entries MUST be submitted in the name of the AMPS member, NOT the Stud name as they are not recognized by the Society as being the member. Names of Ponies MUST be used in full, as they are recorded in the data base and on the Reg certificate, not shortened. Appendix Pony classes: Only Ponies with current “Appendix” Reg Certificates eligible to enter. Approved Helmets must be worn for all Harness & hand led Ridden classes.

**Note:If your Pony measures over 87cm & you accept measurement, you can show on the day.

100 – Best Presented Miniature Pony & Junior Handler, no workout

101 – Best Presented Miniature Pony & Senior Handler, no workout required

102 – Filly 1 years & under

103 – Filly 2 years

104 – Mare 3 years & over

CHAMPION & RESERVE MARE/FILLY

105 – Colt 1 year & under

106 – Colt 2 years

107 – Stallion 3 years & over

CHAMPION & RESERVE STALLION/COLT

108 – Gelding 1year & under

109 – Gelding 2 years

110 – Gelding 3 years & over

CHAMPION & RESERVE GELDING

111 – Novice Handler – any age, not having won an AMPS handler class, not eligible for Champion.

112 – Junior Handler 9 years & under

113 – Junior Handler 10 to 14 years

114 – Junior Handler 15 to 17 years
