8.30am  Horse – events commence on the oval

Including encourage & Pony clubs, Andalusian, Clydesdale Cross Sport Horses, Standardbred Breeds, Australian Pony Stud Book , Pintos, Dilutes, Palouse, Harness, Miniature Ponies.

 SPADE Snake educational reptile display Located in the trade area

YELLOW BRICK ROAD for kids under 14years
Collect your yellow card from the Bank SA stand in front of the show hall, visit the six different places to collect your stamp and place entry in the competition box.

 Children’s Face Painting – free activity Located near show hall

9.45am – 10.30am

 Mr Oopy – children’s show – in the entertainment tent, next to show hall Interactive, fun, energetic. Combining music, dance, props, singing & more
9.00am – 3.00pm  The Kegelbahn Cup – located at the Kegel Clubhouse.

The knockout competition will begin every hour as teams challenge their skills.

Mr Oopy – children’s show – in the entertainment tent, next to show hall
Mr Oopy is the bubble man of Adelaide entertaining children with just bubbles and more bubbles.

From 11.30am  Dan Burt Roving Show – features his famous ONE-MAN-BAND, Dobbin the Wonder Horse, Balloons, Clown routines. Fun for all ages and occasions!

Gum Boot Throwing Competition – located on the Oval in front of the grandstand. For ages kindergarten to year 7 student.

11.3oam  South Australian Hand Milking Championship – located on the Oval in front of the Grandstand. Competitors have just 2 minutes to milk – who will have the heaviest bucket?? Proudly sponsored by JERSEY FRESH

 Off The Track SA – located on the Oval. This competition is exclusive to retired racehorses and held at selected agricultural shows

Family Fun Challenge – located on the Oval in front of the grandstand
Teams compete in various rural based challenges in the safest manner and fastest time through a team relay format. All ages welcome to participate.

SA Rotegrutze Championship – Open judging in the Show hall

SA German Yeast Cake Championship – Open judging in the Show hall. Local cooks compete with their traditional homemade German cakes for the title of Champion Open Section – Proudly sponsored by LANGMEIL WINERY

2.00pm  SA Rich Fruit Cake & Genoa Cake Championship Semi Final – Open judging in the Show hall. Winner is eligible to compete in State final at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Show. Proudly sponsored by SUNBEAM & ANGROVES Family Winemakers

3.00pm – 3.45pm   |   Lily & The Drum – in the entertainment tent, next to show hall Contemporary blues, rock & roots music

 

3.00pm – 4.00pm   |    Kegel Bahn – Come & Try sessions (German for skittle alley pronounced Kee-Gel Barn) Located at the Kegel Club house. An important tradition in the Barossa for approx. 150 years. The only Kegel Club in southern hemisphere.

4.00pm   |    Lone Pine Agricultural Bureau – Produce Auction. Located at display in Show hall (side of stage). Great opportunity to buy fresh Barossa produce, fruit and vegetables
