APSB SA Rules and Regulations

THE APSB SA HAS A ZERO-TOLERANCE BULLYING POLICY

  • All ponies must be registered or recorded with the APSB Society and all owners must be financial members of the APSB Society at the time of entry.
  • All presentation must be in accordance with the individual breed standard as outlined by the APSB Society;
  • Gypsy Cobs, Partbred and Registry exhibits are eligible to compete in Best Presented, Handler, Ridden and Driven Events;
  • All ridden or driven exhibits must be four (4) years or older;
  • Safety Approved Helmets must be worn at all times while mounted. All juniors seventeen (17) years and under must wear a Safety Approved Helmet at all times while driving;
  • All footwear must be closed in, solid and appropriate and must be worn at all times while handling or driving exhibits. Appropriate riding boots must be worn at all times while mounted;
  • The clipping of purebred APSBs one (1) year and under is not permitted;
  • Judges must not judge their own prefix, or family members. They must not have entered into a business dealing (verbal or financial), prepared, handled, ridden or driven a competitor’s exhibit twelve (12) months prior to, or have plans to do so in the 12 months after the show in which they are judging.
